Welcome to Marks & Co

Michael was born in North London in 1948, and moved to Brighton in 1967. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1973.

He founded Marks & Co in 1977 with two clients and went into partnership with the lovely Hilary in 1980. They have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Rachel.

He was, and still is very sporty, although his footballing and rugby days are now over. He contents himself with being a bandit on the golf course... on a good day. He also tries to cycle to and from work every day (except when too wet or cold)!

Michael loves helping new businesses on the road to success providing them with the benefit of his experience of over40 years as an accountant to family businesses.
